My name is Barbara. I help people, it’s what I’ve always done. I’ve been in the medical field for over 30 years, a registered nurse for 15 of those years. I’ve worked here in the United States and in Australia as well. You could say I’ve had a varied and interesting career.
About seven years ago I had reached an age where my years were catching up to me and my health was beginning to show it. I found myself reading everything I could on how to lose weight, exercise more, and just have a happy and balanced life.
Through all of my research, I realized that if I started small and worked up to where my goal was, it was achievable. Within about six months I had made changes that helped me reach my goal. I had lost 20 pounds, was eating a much healthier diet and felt so much more energetic.
Unfortunately, I tend to get derailed from time to time. In fact, I’m sure the same thing has happened to you along the way. It’s hard enough to stay on top of diet and exercise with our busy lives. When we try to do it alone, it’s even harder. So come with me on my journey and let’s get healthy together!
